{"id":6788,"date":"2023-11-09T03:19:38","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T03:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/localhost\/?p=6788"},"modified":"2024-04-11T02:54:13","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T02:54:13","slug":"visit-to-the-safe-community-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/localhost\/en\/latest-news\/visit-to-the-safe-community-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit to the \u201cSafe Community Hub\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cSafe Community Hub\u201d (The Hub) run by the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit (ICTU) is the first experience centre with the theme of counter-terrorism (CT) in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n<p>The Hub, with an area of about 8,000 square feet, features the respective dedicated exhibition and interactive experience zones of the member departments of ICTU. These interactive experiences include virtual reality (VR) \/ augmented reality (AR), motion detection, interactive hologram, and flight simulation, allowing participants to experience how to mitigate the risk of terrorist attacks and ensure personal and community safety.<\/p>\n<p>There are also several photo-taking spots and a mini theatre where special programmes with simulated scenario and special effect will be arranged for participants to experience how to apply the advisories of \u201cRun, Hide, Report\u201d and \u201cSpot and Report\u201d, in case of terrorist attacks or violent incidents.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Visit to the \u201cSafe Community Hub\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: 25\/F, Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai<\/li>\n<li>Admission Fee: Free<\/li>\n<li>Visitors must make reservations:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Group<\/span> \u2013 Schools, community groups or organisations are welcome to make group reservations<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Individual<\/span> \u2013 Members of the public can make reservations for <strong>designated time slots <\/strong>(For details, please refer to \u201cSafe Community\u201d WeChat Mini Programme \u300c\u5b89\u5168\u793e\u5340\u5c0f\u7a0b\u5f0f\u300d)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reservation: Reservations can be made via the<strong> \u201cSafe Community\u201d WeChat Mini Programme<\/strong> (\u300c\u5b89\u5168\u793e\u5340\u5c0f\u7a0b\u5f0f\u300d). Scan the QR code to enter the reservation system.\u00a0 The system will be opened at 10 am daily for the coming month\u2019s reservation.\u00a0 Individual booking is restricted to four visitors per visit. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Enquiry: <strong>3660 0548<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Parking is not provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Inclement Weather Arrangements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.1 \/ No.3 or Amber \/ Red Rainstorm Warning is hoisted:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The Hub will be opened as scheduled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the warning remains in force at 6 am, morning sessions for group tour will be cancelled.<\/li>\n<li>If the warning remains in force at 10:30am, afternoon sessions will be cancelled.<\/li>\n<li>If the Hong Kong Observatory announces that the relevant warning will be hoisted, visitors will be arranged to leave and the Hub will be closed.<\/li>\n<li>If the warning is hoisted during the course of visit, the Hub will remain opened and visitors who have arrived can continue their visit or leave when weather condition permits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In the above situations, visitors affected will not be separately notified.
